Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium  

All companies that operate trucks over 26,001 lb must have their CDL drivers in a compliant drug and  alcohol random program required by Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (Including self employed individuals, contractors, and volunteers).

 

ITA services include: 

• Proof of Enrollment in consortium (When requested) 

• DOT Compliant Drug & Alcohol testing policy, including updates as regulations change • All required forms for DOT compliance for drug & alcohol testing 

• Perform all tests required for DOT compliance pre-employment, random, post-accident,  reasonable suspicion, return to duty and follow-up testing.  

• Monthly or quarterly random selections 

• Qualified collectors for collection of urine specimens 

• Screening Test Technicians (STT) & Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) for saliva & breath  samples 

• Clinic collections or mobile (at your location) collections  

• SAMHSA certified laboratory for initial and confirmation testing of specimen • Review and reporting by a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO)  

• 24/7 Emergency support for Post-Accident & Reasonable Suspicion Testing • Record retention per DOT guidelines 

• Semi-Annual Testing summaries  

• Annual MIS report summaries 

• Substance Abuse Professional referral services for drivers that violate the DOT regulations 

- Participants in the ITA D&A Testing Program must be members of the Illinois Trucking Association
