In 2026, the Illinois Trucking Association is making that answer easier than ever.
Beginning January 15, ITA will launch Where Is It in the FMCSR?, a comprehensive 12-part online training series designed to help carriers navigate the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with clarity and confidence. Held on the third Thursday of each month from 9:00–10:30 AM, this series offers practical, hands-on guidance for anyone responsible for understanding or applying federal regulations.
Led by Linda Blisset, ITA’s Director of Safety, each session walks through a different Part of the FMCSR, showing attendees exactly where essential rules are located and how to find key information quickly during day-to-day operations. The goal is simple: make the FMCSR easier to understand—and even easier to use.
Ideal for safety managers, compliance teams, and office personnel, this series provides a foundational resource for strengthening compliance programs across Illinois.
